- Mental Health Therapy
Members of the neurodiverse community often experience symptoms that are associated with mental health conditions including depression and anxiety. Mental health therapy has been demonstrated to be effective in helping people mange these symptoms and helping people be less burdened by them.
Mental health therapy can be provided by psychologists, social workers, counselors and by other professionals who have had the necessary training.
- Executive Function Coaching
Executive functions are the basic skills of self-management that allow us to set goals and achieve them. They include such areas as managing our emotions, taking initiative, staying focused, being organized, planning and prioritizing, and recognizing when we’re off track and figuring out how to recover. Variability in the development and effective use of executive function skills is common among members of the neurodivergent community.
Process
Executive function coaches work with individuals, and their support system, to establish self-management skills that can be used to help organize, plan, prioritize, manage time, maintain focus, self-assess, and study/work efficiently. Executive function coaching has been shown to be effective in assisting those with ADHD, ASD and other challenges that can come with being neurodivergent.

- Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a science-based practice that focuses on understanding the relationship between a person's environment, behaviors, and adaptive outcomes. It involves openly observing and recording behavior in the natural setting at the moment it occurs.
Through this process ABA aims to understand why certain behaviors are occurring and how to best reduce these behaviors or increase appropriate ones.
ABA works with individuals of all ages and ability levels, targeting a wide range of goals including generalization of learned skills, developing a functional communication system, daily living skills, social interaction, and enhancement of academic performance.
